Adair County picks up their first win of the season in a hard fought game. Senior Jakobe Payne led the Indians with a rushing and receiving touchdown each. Sophomore Deshawn Singleton had a pick 6 in the first half, and senior QB Aaaron Peck had the game winning touchdown run with 40 seconds to play. Adair County will host Rockcastle County next week.

Metcalfe has been right there in three of their games it just doesn’t seem like they can get over the hump but fortunately for them with Glasgow moving to 3A their district is wide open and they should be able to play with every team in it.

I like Metcalfe and pulling for them to compete in their district! This was a good effort for them and came down to a couple of plays.
