Lost in the shuffle last night but congratulations to Caverna on their big win over Shawnee. The Colonels hadn't won a game on the field since beating Fort Knox on October 16, 2015, a streak that spanned 37 games (their loss to Green County on August 24, 2018 was later credited as a win to the Colonels after Green used an ineligible player). It is always good to see teams get in the win column!

Unfortunately for Shawnee, the loss is their 47th straight. The last Golden Eagle victory was over Fort Knox on September 12, 2014. Shawnee started the 2014 season with four straight wins but haven't won a game since. Here's hoping they can get that turned around real soon.
