Boyd County makes the short 13 minute drive across town to take on Ashland on Friday. Ashland has not been too kind to the Lions over the years outscoring Boyd County 170-7 over the past 3 years with two of those being shutouts.

Before it's all said and done, Boyd might show improvement this season under Evan Ferguson. They may have even done it in Week 1. But don't count on it happening this week. Ashland by a bunch. Pittman and Hester should run wild again for as long as they're on the field.

 

Boyd hasn't gotten the better of the Tomcats since 2003.
