Final

Mason County scored their touchdowns on our younger guys.

Last td was a pass from Logan Lundy Frosh to Mason Lykins Frosh.

Prayers for Chase Snedegar of Russell. TJ says he broke his tibia or fibula in the Mason County game. It might have been fibula.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Russell competes with Raceland next week. Should get a good test from a pretty good Raceland team.

Very disappointing performance by Mason. How many penalties did they have?

14-130 yards.

Russell had 5-50 yards.

Congrats to Russell on the win.

Russell is big up front and has a couple of big backs in Conley and Anderson who run hard. When they kept it on the ground, they powered the ball up and down the field against Mason. The only real mistakes Russell made all night were the two Jachimczuk picks. And the defense looked outstanding. Overall, this was a promising start to the season.

Ethan Sharp isn't too bad of a back either.

The 4th back is Chase Snedegar Who's hurt, Russell hopes to have him back later in the season in district play.

Yes he is. He's a quick change of pace to Conley and Anderson.
