Looked really good before the weather delay. Took awhile afterwards to get going and the crowd never really good the energy back. Pulisic continues to be impressive. All in all, because of the circumstances it was good to get the win and move on.

Good win for the US. I saw something interesting though... after Pulisic’s first goal, the US defender with the blonde beard put his am around Pulisic, and he ducked out of it like an MMA fighter. Are there personal issues on this team?

Pretty solid first half effort falls short as Berhalter's lousy bench had NOTHING to offer after the break. Martino moved some things around on the field at halftime and Berhalter just didn't have any personnel available to correct it.

 

Had Altidore or Pulisic buried either of their solid chances in the first half, maybe this goes to penalties and anything can happen. You need the breaks to go your way sometimes in a game against a more talented team and they just didn't hit for the US last night.

 

Much better the last two games than anything we've seen from the US in years though.

 

For now... I'll take it.
