Robin Harmon-Newsome retired from her longtime position as athletic director at Sheldon Clark back in 2017, and she was also the girls basketball coach for Sheldon Clark in the late 90s and early 00s.

 

She is also a Sheldon Clark alum, where she led the state in scoring back in 1978 with a pre-three point arc average of 33 points per game.

Sheldon Clark High School Changing Names?

New high school, successor to Sheldon Clark.

So, actually, same high school...just a new name. That happened a lot in the 1960's when consolidation was all the rage and schools would change the name to "____ County." It usually included a consolidation, but...like in this case...not always.

 

As one of those "diggers" who likes to keep track of all kinds of history, it's a bit of a kink in the works.
