Alex Killorn got his first NHL hat trick as the Bolts tightened the screws on the President's Trophy in Amalie Arena last night.

Tyler Johnson, Erik Cernak, and Yanni Gourde also scored for the Bolts. Alex Ovechkin had 2 goals and John Carlson scored for Washington.

Tampa Bay leads Boston by 19 points with 10 games to go for both teams. The maximum point total the Bruins can obtain, if they win out, is 115 points. The Lightning have 114. Any Tampa Bay win or Boston non-OT loss going forward will end the race for the Atlantic division title and home ice throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The same holds true for Calgary as well. They also have 10 games left and trail the Bolts by 19 points. Any Tampa Bay win or Calgary non-OT, will eliminate the Flames from the President's Trophy race.

The win set a franchise record for most wins in a season, with 55.

Nikita Kucherov added 2 assists to maintain his league lead in that category and points. Kuch has 117 points, Connor McDavid is second with 103. He also leads in assists with 82 verses 67 by Connor McDavid and Blake Wheeler in 2nd place.
