Coach Rod Thomas announced today he was stepping away.

This used to be one of the best jobs in the western part of the state but McCracken County being in same district it makes this job not as appealing to some established coaches.

Can’t argue that but you should be able to make it to the regional tournament each year which gives you a chance to win a regional.

Any info on why coach Thomas is stepping away?

His son is graduating this year. So I’m sure that is one of the reasons.

105-25 with the girls in four years, 55-33 with the boys in 3. Not sure what the problem was with the boys.
