Any idea on the time for the 1st Scrimmage vs. Moore? I might catch this.

 

Based on what I was told, 10am.

Moore scrimmage is at Beechwood, 10 am on August 10.

 

For names to look out for, there are only 4 returning starters, QB Hergott, CB and WR Mason Williams, LB Blake Shepherd and RB and LB Josh Derry, who missed most of last season due to injury. Everyone else is just a guess as to who starts and how much impact they make. The scrimmages will be worth watching to see who is playing where. There are some incoming seniors who have patiently waited for their playing time behind a great group of graduating seniors. Now they get their chance to make their mark. The last time there was this much unknown about Beechwood entering a season was before the 2016 season. That turned out pretty good.

 

We also have the weirdness of being in 2A for the first time. The out of district schedule will be very tough for this new group of starters.
