How many times has Cov Cath won the district tournament?

I count 28.

Beechwood won their only district title in 1949. I do not know who they defeated that year, but I know two things, it was not Covington Catholic and the answer is in my copy of the Encyclopedia of Kentucky High School Basketball.

They defeated Dixie Heights.
