Final

Jarin Rassman goes the length of the floor after a Carroll County free throw with 5.8 seconds left gave the Panthers a 68-67 lead.

Gallatin’s Troy Coomer had just tied the game at 67 by hitting 3 foul shots with 6.4 seconds remaining.

The Wildcats improve to 11-3 overall and 5-0 in District play.

These two will more than likely have Part 3 next Thursday in the All A semifinals in Bedford.

Rassman led Gallatin with 22. Coomer added 20 and Wyatt Bowen 15. Mumphrey with 28 and Supplee 15 for the Panthers.

Carroll County needs to eventually get this monkey off their backs. This game was a great one but Carroll has to learn to make free throws in clutch situations. To many missed free throws to beat a team that you are so even with. I can’t wait to see this again in the All A and then again in Districts. Rassman was tough to stop tonight the Panthers will need to figure out a way to get the ball out of his hands.

Right now, it's hard to think of another team in the 8th that's more improved than Carroll. Kudos to the Panthers for how far they've come and kudos to Gallatin for the win. Wish I'd seen this game.

Congrats to the Wildcats and Coach Jones on the win. Should be two more matches for these two in the All A Semis next week and district final. Anyone know who hosts the 31st this year?
