In Amalie Arena, David Postrnak scored his 20th goal of the season to start things off, but Brayden Point answered with his 21st as Boston and Tampa Bay were tied 1-1 at the end of the first period. After a scoreless 2nd, Mathieu Joseph scored 2 minutes and 40 seconds into the 3rd period. A 80 seconds later, with J.T, Miller in the box serving a penalty on Louis Domingue for delay of game, Anthony Cirelli scored a short handed goal to put the Bolts up 3-1.

 

David Krejci got one back for the Bruins, but Domingue was able to hold off Boston the remainder of the game to give the Lightning their 5th win in a row.

I watched the Jackets game and switched over to this one late in the 3rd, just as Boston pulled the goalie and immediately netted their 2nd goal. The final few seconds were a little crazy as Domingue hopscotched over a last second errant shot that rebounded off the back board and a Bruin fired a rocket at him as time expired. Fun ending to that game.
