Shawnee is looking for their 6th coach in the last decade, and the job is open for the a second year in a row. The Golden Eagles' last varsity win on the football field came back on September 12, 2014. Tough job to fill.

Ken Walker posted on his Facebook page that he took the Shawnee job:"After much thought wavering and praying, I have decided not to retire from coaching football, I think I still have so much to offer young people playing football. I have excerpted a new position as head football coach at Shawnee high school."

Good for both. Walker has been a good coach for years and provided stability (and subsequent improvement) at Atherton. Here's hoping he can do the same at Shawnee.
