Paris played the Rams tough in the 1st half. Rams used adjulstments on defense and both O and D lines to wear down Paris. Raceland fell behind 19-15, then reeled off 34 unanswered points.

Penalties throughout the game hurt Paris.

Rams QB Heighton had 5 TD passes, 3 to G. Lewis. Lewis also had 2 pass interceptions as well.

Rams RB H. Lacks had 119 yds. rushing on 16 carries, 1 td. Raceland's defense had 2 TD's on a pick 6 and fumble-recovry

Yes, there were several PF calls on both teams. I hate seeing games get Chippy like this one did.

Prayers going out for Raceland's Dalton Atkins, he was hurt when punting … had a PF / Roughing kicker. We did get an update on Atkins . there were no broken bones in leg / foot

Sincerely hate to hear that. That kid was a beast against Beechwood in the Championship game last year. Praying he can get back on the field.

That's becoming a regular scheduled game. I just want more of them to be played at our place, but they earned it by winning the district. Personally, I consider Paintsville to be maybe the toughest place in the state to go in and get a W.
