My son just said this

My six year old is at a youth bible bowl contest, it’s like trivial pursuit on bible question. He volunteers to open with prayer and prays “dear God, let us realize that this is not about winning and losing but more about having fun and spending time together.”

I’m not sure if I am proud or ashamed.

He sounds like a very smart and well adjusted kid with a bright future! Sounds like you and your wife are doing a great job of raising him!

But he said that it is not all about winning and losing? I don’t know where he picked that up from.
