Congratulations Raceland on the win.

Landon Duvall was missed by Russell after going out with a hamstring injury early according to the Russell radio crew.

Tough hard nose game. I watched most of it. Sloppy field with the pouring rain.

Raceland had several costly mistakes to kill drives. Russell had the only drive and score of the game. Russell didn’t have to many mistakes but the did have the biggest of the game with the fumble on the 1.

I watched the game with sound muted while listening to the Russell radio broadcast. I was pleased with how the Russell defense played. I thought Russell should have opened the offense with more passing than they tried. Raceland was stuffing the run.

Very good defensive game. Proud of how Russell has improved throughout the year. Also, proud of how Raceland gutted one out.
