October 22, 20187 yr I don't know what Jon Cooper said to them, but as bad as the Bolts looked last night, they came out with much more intensity and they played in front of the net. Then they turned it up a notch. Tampa Bay set a NHL record for most shots on goal in a period with 33 in the second. They set a franchise record for most shots on goal in a game with 55. The Lightning are now 5-1-1, the Blackhawks 4-2-2.
October 22, 20187 yr Author Also, the Bolts did a great job making sure the Blackhawks Patrick Kane was not able to hurt them this evening.
October 22, 20187 yr That was a fun one to watch. Domingue had 33 saves and put on a clinic as he was peppered early and often in the first period. This one was a beauty!
October 22, 20187 yr Some teams don't even put up 33 shots in a game, let alone 33 in a period. That's super impressive.
