Suge Knight gets 28 year prison sentence

Rap Mogul, Marion "Suge" Knight was sentenced to 28 years for mowing down a man outside a burger stand in Compton back in 2015. Knight left the scene of the crime and was later arrested. Knight had gotten into a fight with a rapper that had been a technical advisor on the movie Straight out of Compton, because he didn't like his portrayal in the movie. I guess he didn't think being shown as a narsacistic bully was appropriate representation of hisself. Knight tried to hit the man he was fighting with his vehicle and clipped him before speeding across the lot and hitting and killing Terry Carter.

 

It looks like he'll have to spend at least 20 more years in prison after receiving credit for time served since the arrest and current sentencing guidelines.
