Raceland/Paris updates

Featured Replies

Congrats, Oldrambler. It sounds like the Rams are looking pretty good right now.

We both know that Paris isn't going to just roll over and play dead in the second half, but it's nice to be in the driver's seat going in at halftime.

Paris has been getting the yardage they have through the air. The greyhounds running/option game has went nowhere. They are throwing the ball with some sucsess. Raceland has 2int. and 1 fumble recovery, J.T. Forrest has been all over the field from his LB position and Dumford (6'7' 350lb!!) lineman for Paris name has been called a lot - is having a good game.

Raceland takes the 2nd half kickoff and drives the field for a TD, Grizzle to Mullins. Kick good. Raceland - 27 / Paris - 8.

why would Raceland go for 2? They have a solid kicking game.

Not sure, but not having their regular holder might have something to do with it.

That or Coach "Hoof" wanted to tie the game at 8 at that point.

T. Chambers intercepts a Paris pass. ( this is 4int. tonight for the Rams defense). Raceland ball on the Paris 30yd. line ( I think-lol)

Grizzle in for a TD on a 2yd. run, kick n/g (bad snap). Raceland 36 / Paris - 14.

Raceland has to sure up those special teams if they expect to go to Lexington and make some noise.

Sounds to me like the refs have caught on to the chop blocks that Paris is doing. It is about a game to late after we lost Denton and Boyles. They need to give the Paris coaches a warning I have heard of at least 3 they have been called for in the 3rd period.
