Mayfield finally made the adjustments to keep the Tigers off the scoreboard in the second half.

Are the Cards just slow starters this year? Seems like almost every week it’s close in the first half, then blowing the doors off in the second half.

Yes they like to start playing defense at halftime. Going to have to figure out how to get up for that first half eventually.

The offense isn't but the defense is.

I’m sure they’ll get it corrected. If not, that could haunt them in the deep rounds of the playoffs.

Mayfield

Kent Trey Matthews rushed 22 times for 257 yards.

Jayden Stinson completed 11of 18 for 214 yards ,3 TD and his first interception.

Mayfield had 457 total yards

Murray

Mark Thompson ran 34 times for 156 yards.

Hunter Utley completed 13-26 for 180 yards , 2 TD and 2 interceptions

Murray had 401 total yards

I'm not sure what is going on during kick off or punt but spotting a team a TD and or good field position every kick/punt is going to hurt Mayfield at the wrong time. Hope they can get that fixed.
