West Carter stayed within striking distance with a late 2nd quarter interception followed soon after by a TD right before the half. In the 3rd quarter, Rivers connected with Cline on a beautiful TD pass where Rivers heaved it on the run and Cline reeled it in over his shoulder for the score. Other than that, it was all Russell. I thought they'd win by 2-3 scores. Wasn't really expecting a blowout. This was a great way to start out district play.
