The Tomcats have navigated their way to their best start in three years, and are one of just two remaining unbeatens in 4A. They're coming off a 14-7 win over Ironton (OH) a week ago. Rowan County is their first game of district play, which will take up the rest of their season. Ashland trounced Rowan 46-14 a season ago, but the Vikings have had a turnaround season, and enter at 4-1. With a healthy 38.6 PPG average, can Rowan make a game of this?

Ashland continues to roll, although Rowan is much improved.
