The most difficult part of my trip is having to wait until Monday mornings to get the scores. ESPN in India is all cricket all the time with an occasional F1 race or golf score.

November 5, 200619 yr The Commish thought I did such a good job with my predictions last week, he brought me back for an encore. So let's get to it. This week we'll start with the Central and Western division matchups. Grayson County Swamptrash (3-5) at Western Kentucky WarHogs (4-4) WarHogs lead the series 1-0 The Hogs have done something in this game I thought I'd never see. They benched Carson Palmer in favor of Charlie Frye. Yes, that's right Frye over Palmer. So, unless there's a last minute lineup change, I'm going to have to go with the Trash in this one. 4th and 10.....Trash 64 Hogs 60 Richmond nWo Outsiders (2-6) at Kalamazoo Wings (4-4) Wings lead the series 2-1 and have won the last two meetings. The Wings have tough matchups this week and will probably struggle. The Outsiders aren't in much better shape. Should prove to be a very competitive game with the Wings pulling out a squeaker. 4th and 10.....Wings 68 Outsiders 59 Shelby Cards (4-4) at Southern KY SubVets (3-5) SubVets lead the series 2-0 The Vets sent Reggie Wayne some flowers this week to thank him for keeping them from sinking. No such luck this week. Wayne comes back to earth and the Sub starts taking on water again. The Cards hopefully will start a full lineup this week and barring career days from Clark and Wayne should win this pretty handily. 4th and 10......Cards 82 Subs 69 Sitka Stars (6-2) at West Kentucky Rams (4-4) Rams lead the series 1-0 The Rams are one win away from 30 career wins. Upset special of the week. The Rams get their 30th career win. The Stars will get big points from Vick and Barber, but the rest of the team will have average weeks. Rams get consistency across the board from each player take the win. 4th and 10......Rams 80 Stars 68 Florence Fighters (4-4) at Paintsville Pythons (6-2) Fighters lead the series 2-0 At first glance you would think this would be a cakewalk for the Pythons. You'd be wrong. While the Fighters are super weak at RB, Brees and Holt can carry the load. The Pythons start Bell who's battling turf toe in both feet and will get next to nothing from him. 4th and 10.....Pythons 78 Fighters 74 Ga. St. Prison Mean Machine (5-3) at Auxier RiverRats (6-2) Machine lead the series 3-1 and have won the last two meetings. The Machine is one win away from 35 career wins. Matchup of division leaders and THE GAME OF THE WEEK. Tough game to call. Both teams have solid players and decent matchups. Going to have to take the Machine in this one based on the edge at WR. 4th and 10.....Machine 95 Rats 85 Huggs Thuggs (4-4) at Brush Creek Rusty Ankles (5-3) Thuggs lead the series 2-0 The Thuggs go down hard. The Crusty Ankles are just to much for the Thuggs and win in a walk. 4th and 10.....Kankles 85 Thuggs 65 Louisville Legends (3-5) at Lexington Lumber (1-7) Lumber lead the series 3-2 and have won the last two meetings. Not much to go on here. Neither team has posted a lineup. Looking at the rosters, the Legends could be without a QB this week. Based on that stat alone, I gotta give the Sisters of the Lumber the nod. 4th and 10.....Lumber 58 Legends 49 Let's take a quick look at the divisions... Eastern Based on this weeks predictions, the Pythons regain the division lead. The Rats and Ankles are right there and this division should go down to the wire. Northern It's a one team race. The Machine expands their lead to 2 games this week and doesn't look back. Cental The Stars drop back to a one game lead, but are clearly the class of this division. Western What a mess. No one has establish any dominance in this divison. But don't be fooled, this division is not very good. The winner of this division will be cannon fodder in the playoffs. For now it looks like I only have to make this trip once a year. But that could change in the near future. I still haven't had a chance to go to Boston or Dallas. Maybe someday.

Carson isn't having a good fantasy year and may find himself behind Frye more often. Not that it matters in the long run any way.
