Cowboys 35 Panthers 14

Um...you do understand that the WIND affects the passing game...and if you cant throw due to the wind...you are FORCED to run. This meant the Bucs were stacking the box with 8 players...

Here, I'll get you a quote from none other than Jon Gruden himself...

"Obviously, the weather was a factor," Bucs coach Jon Gruden said. "It was hard for both teams. It was hard pregame warmup, it was hard throughout the game. Not only was it hard to throw it, it was hard to catch it, it was hard to snap it, it was hard to pitch it. It was hard, period."

The conditions made the so-called "Barber Bowl," the possible final matchup between twins Ronde Barber of the Bucs and Tiki Barber of the Giants, seem almost insignificant.

The twins had their moments, but they played a secondary role to the wind and the Giants defense, which held Tampa Bay without a first down on their first five offensive possessions.

But HB, do you understand that the way you act about the Giants, they should have run all over the Buc's. The mere wind shouldn't have been able to stop such a Juggernaut as the G-Men.

Seriously dude, your a bit too touchy about the Giants, there are better teams out there right now, the Bears come to mind and the Colts and a few other teams. I know you can't stand hearing this, but it's a fact, Dallas did everything in that last game to beat themselves. Otherwise, the Cowboys wouldn't have been in the Red Zone as often as they were. The Boys shot themselves in the foot, plain and simple. Your just gonna have to deal with it.

Dallas did not beat themselves bud, THE NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS beat them. Pretty soundly too. I believe it was by 14 points...I guess it was Dallas beating themselves when Plaxico grabbed the 50 yard bomb from Eli....or it was Dallas simply beating themselves when Tiki ran wild for over 135 total yards...or I guess it was just Dallas beating themselves when the Giants picked off 4 passes...

That's all it was. I guess Atlanta, Tampa and Philly just beat themselves vs. New York too. Since the Giants are incapable of winning a game on their own.

The BOLD would be the give away part. ;)

You forgot to add, 4 BAD passes.

By the way, Romo was 14/25 for 227yds and 2 td's in that Giants game, not too shabby for 1 half. He did have 3 int's and that plus Bledsoe's 1 is what killed The Boys, not the Giants.

Manning was 12/26 for 189 yds 2 td's and 1 int. I think the Romo held up pretty well compared to Manning.

You're being so hypocritical. I realize the Giants have weaknesses. You are the one who said they should have destroyed Tampa. I thought they played well and avoided a "trap game" by winning soundly 17-3. You thought that was a close game vs. a bad team. (Even though they just BEAT Philly).

I'm not touchy at all. You can't take it that the Giants BEAT Dallas SOUNDLY. This is where you are hypocritical. You say I can't see that there are better teams out there than the Giants. Well...you should own up to it...and realize that the Giants are BETTER than the Cowboys right now. The Giants CAPITALIZE on other teams mistakes...Dallas fumbles those chances away. The difference between good teams, and bad teams...is the good teams dont make those STUPID mistakes that the Cowboys made. And you can't blame every one of them on the Cowboys. I think the Giants defense had a little bit to do with them too...

As a matter of fact...why dont we just crown the Boys champions. Because IF they play a PERFECT game...they'll never lose. That's what it sounds like you are trying to say .

Because the Giants weren't the ones intercepting those passes were they? Who was that picking those passes off? Was it the refs?

Oh, and a lot of Romos yards came in garbage time...after the Giants were up 36-14.

See, when you say they beat Dallas SOUNDLY, you come off looking silly. No I can't blame them all on the Cowboys, but the Key ones that cost them the game, I can, will, did and will continue to do so. Why? Because that's what cost them the game. Stupid mistakes.

I've seen nearly all Super Bowl Champs make stupid mistakes like those, it's one game, don't be absurd.

I can handle the Giants beating the Cowboys just fine, check back in the thread about the game. I just don't agree with you, there's no need to.

Did you watch the gam? Picked off is not what I would call it. QB's fault plain and simple for throwing bad passes, poor decisions. Even the announcers agree with me on that one, but I'm sure you never will.

Good teams don't let that happen.

I've grown bored with this, I'll check back later.

We all know that those announcers sure know what they're talking about too huh!?

On the screen interception, it was a stupid pass. It was a nice read by the Giants to be in position for the INT though.

On Antonio Pierce's interception...it was a nice play by Michael Strahan to get his hand on the ball and knock it in the air for the INT.

On the INT by Sam Madison...Madison jumped the route and made a nice INT. Bledsoe made a dumb pass too.

On Dockery's INT...horrible pass by Romo...nice catch by Dockery...followed by a nice return by Dockery.

Of course I watched the game...I havn't missed a Giants game in 3 years!

Sometimes I get bored talking about the Cowboys as well...;)

Good teams don't let that happen.

The Giants 2nd stringers were in...nice try though. :D

Thanks for making my point. They gave it away.

What makes you think you know more than the announcers?

The Giants 2nd stringers were in...nice try though. :D
