Knox Central got the season started right with a 49-22 win over Letcher County Central. It's a second straight year starting off in the victory column for a veteran Knox team. They will take on Alcoa in the Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic at Corbin on August 25th. Alcoa is a monster of a matchup. Annually one of the best teams in Tennessee, Alcoa has won their class the last five seasons. Can Knox Central come out with the win?

This game could potentially tell us a great deal about Knox Central. If they can just keep this competitive with Alcoa, it could bode well for Knox Central's standing in 4A this year.

If Knox can battle at the LOS and slow the clock down they might be able to make things interesting, but I anticipate the athleticism and team speed of Alcoa will be a tough pill for them to swallow

Alcoa 35

Knox 7

After the terrible calls by the refs pretty much stole the game from Alchoa last year vs Corbin I’m shocked they came back.
