O.J. Mayo was 2nd team all-state (Courier-Journal and Herald-Leader) as a 7th grader in 2002.

 

1st team (both papers) as an 8th grader in 2003.

 

Carried his team (Rose Hill, 16th Region) to the state tournament quarter-finals in 2003.
