Fun game at Dixie.

 

Cooper loaded the bases in the bottom of the 7th on a single, error on a bunt, another bunt. Jackman then struck out Ollier and Runion and got Walters to pop up to end the game.

Both pitchers were really on tonight. I don't know what the record for curves in one game between two pitchers but it was a big number tonight.

 

Winning runs were on a knothole homerun - single to right - got under the glove - bad throw to the infield and the runner on base and the batter scored.

 

Jackman and Reid were a problem tonight.

I think this was the first time seeing Jackman.

 

I can't think of a pitcher who is more chill than this kid . From his half speed warmups to his demeanor on the bump. Fields the position well. Didn't get rattled when Cooper loaded the bases. Just a relaxed kid.

I think Cooper's first run scored on what should have been an ending inning double play. But I could be getting my innings mixed up. Both teams had a few errors.
