I'm not jumping off the bandwagon, but the over-saturation is definitely a problem. But I'm also curious to see what the product looks like after Backlash when it starts to die down some and the shakeup takes full effect.

I agree and that is exactly where I am at, either the WWE streamlines things or I am downgrading to part timer.

My wife is a bigger WWE die hard than all 3 of us put together, and she now doesnt want to watch the shows live other than PPV. We record Raw and Smackdown and watch them both on Tuesdays at warp speed. Shes getting tired of it, but she also hates Brock with a passion so that doesnt help.

So I've just recently started trying to get back into watching, but am I the only one that thinks it's absurd that they're having a PPV without the IIconics? They're the perfect "heel" team and IMO are the best thing the women's division has going right now.

A result of both brands being featured on the PPV. Several others aren't included, like Elias, Finn Balor, Ronda Rousey, Asuka, New Day (or any tag team for that matter), etc.

I am fine with it for now, because I think combined brand PPV's should improve both Raw & Smackdown. If improvement isn't made, then that will obviously be more concerning.

I also think the Iiconics will get involved in the Carmella/Charlotte match somehow. I see them again costing Charlotte the title.

Your wife and I would get along well. That is almost exactly what I do only I try to have Raw and Smackdown watched on the DVR before NASCAR practice heats up on Fridays.

I haven't been overwhelmed with the Iiconics promos so far but I agree they have a lot going for them. However, the women's division as a whole is absolutely loaded with talent.

Wait until Sasha Banks  and Charlotte Flair have another feud. It is the female equivalent of Seth Rollins and Finn Balor rocking the ring.

Additionally, Nia Jax is the Braun Strowman of the women's division only she is the champ.

Alexa Bliss kills the promos and shows glimpses of real wrestling ability.

In short, the women's division is at an all time high.

Dang, no mention of Rousey or Asuka....I guess that just speaks to the amount of talent in the women's division now.

See, I think the corniness and "scriptedness" of their promos is what makes them so great. It just comes across as so fake and obnoxious that it gets the big negative reactions you want out of a heel IMO.

Makes me wonder with the amount of talent they have right now, if they may think of adding a women's tag title belt soon?

With Rousey I feel like the WWE is spinning their tires in the mud. I want to see her do some serious wrestling against someone that can bring it like Flair or Banks. Until then, she is second tier in my mind.

Asuka is growing on me, I am glad she got beat because the WWE was pushing her way too fast.

Personally, I like more coherent story lines and promos but I will hit the reset button with the Iiconics and see what happens.

Finally, you are absolutely right, the women's division is busting at the seams with talent.

That's fair. For me, it probably doesn't hurt that Peyton Royce is an absolute smoke-show. :lol2: :D

I really like them. Their obnoxiousness is great.

No question about that. Sasha/Charlotte matches are about as good as anything the men can do.

I think they are bringing her along very slowly in order to protect her and keep her over with the crowd, which I believe to be wise. She's the biggest draw on the roster alongside Brock & Cena.

I get what you're saying, and agree to an extent, but I believe the payoff is going to be good. I expect Charlotte & Rousey to main event Wrestlemania 35.

As you know I am getting up there in years and with that in mind a lot of young ladies look really good to me.

I like the long game too and I'm optimistic Rousey is going to start rocking the ring soon.

Ruby Riot with the win over Bayley on the pre show.

Seth Rollins retains the Intercontinental Championship over The Miz in an outstanding match to open the show.
