While coaches polls are useful, I'm a fan of rankings that take into account quality wins and strength of schedule.

 

There are enough games completed this season to have the polls/rankings begin (?) to align more closely. Do the "Top 25" here look like an accurate assessment of the state's top teams?

JC has been playing well of late as they get healthy. Knocked off Scott County at home and Madison Central in the road. I look for them to be back in the rankings soon.

Yes. They also picked up a nice win against Boyle Co. last weekend at the LIT. From the 8th region, both the Pioneers and Walton-Verona are now in the MaxPreps 25.

It was a good game, I was really hoping to see Boyle play Simon Kenton with their entire team. They had 3 or 4 starters who were not playing because they went to prom. I believe 3 players started for Boyle who had yet to play or start a varsity game this season.
