Zach Settembre, who led the Collegiate Titans to a best ever 23-8 record and was named Seventh Region Coach of the Year in his first season as a head coach, has accepted a job as an assistant at a junior college in Florida.

They have a lot coming back assuming everyone stays. Going to be tough to duplicate 23 wins but pieces are in place for the right coach. There have to be some JCPS assistants and possibly other small school coaches involved. Patrick Jackson from St Francis possibly?

And with University Heights grad james White (Harvard grad and b-ball player) as the head master I think basketball will continue to be a priority.

Agree that Collegiate has a lot coming back, assuming everyone comes back. However, one of the people who will not be back is Dr. White, who has accepted a new position as Head of School of the Galloway School in Atlanta. It is my understanding that Collegiate will have an interim head for the 2018-19 school year while they conduct a search for a new head.

It will be interesting to see how things play out. The new coach will be the fifth different head coach in five years at Collegiate.

One and done.
