Texas A&M 86 North Carolina 65

Featured Replies

I didn't catch most of it, but it seems A&M did exactly what it did to UK in College Station a couple months ago. UK was leading at the half I believe, and A&M when on about a 30-2 run in six minutes not missing a shot.

I wouldn't say Carolina was running away with it. They lead for the most of the first 8:00 mins or so but until they stretched it out to 20-13 it was back and forth. A&M went on about a 2:00 drought and UNC made some separation but that lasted about 2 seconds.

By running away I meant they had started to extend their lead. It looked as if they were in the verge of opening it up. Then, well, the butt whipping began and the rest is history.

Good for former Murray State coach Billy Kennedy. I did not spend a ton of time around the guy, but each time I was around him he seemed like the nicest dude.
