History Channel new series Frontier Men "The Men Who Built America"

Finally a show on actual history. Comes on Wednesday nights and the first episode on Daniel Boone was super.. Anybody else watch this?

I thought I had my DVR set for it, but apparently I screwed something up. I'm definitely hoping they re-air the whole thing...

I'm sure they will.. A lot of Kentucky history I didn't realize was important to the growth of America.

Read the biography "Boone" by Robert Morgan. It's also out there on Audio Book. I thought it was INCREDIBLY interesting.

I also keep meaning to read "Lions Of The West: Heroes and Villains of the Westward Expansion". It's another nonfiction by Robert Morgan, and covers folks like Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Daniel Boone, John Chapman (Johnny Appleseed), David Crockett, Sam Houston, James K. Polk, Winfield Scott, and Kit Carson on a chapter by chapter basis.

I've enjoyed past "Men Who Build America" episodes so I will certainly watch this one.
