The fact that ESPN is already backing off of some of the report leads me to believe more may be wrong as well. If you are going to come out and say the FBI has Miller on a wiretap saying what is alleged about Ayton and you are already now saying it was not about Ayton, that is a HUGE swing and miss. This is no minor issue. I wish Ayton could sue ESPN and the reporter but it is very difficult to win these sorts of lawsuits.

 

Intent to injure/defame through lying is the key concept here. ESPN may have screwed up, but I doubt they did it maliciously with intent to harm Miller/Ayton. ESPN does have contracts with the Pac 10, after all.

ESPN has been spiraling downhill for some time now. It's flat out junk compared to what they use to be. Way to political and dirty to me.
