Estill Co started out using the Tony Franklin system. Old habits are hard to change and sometimes are better in the long run. Stay focus Engineers. You out performed our Devils and gave them a heart check the first half.:fire: :fire: :fire:

When Coach Jones played at ball in high school and college, he was a very good reciever. I'm ceratin he would love to throw the ball but unfortunately his personel has lent itself much more to the run. Regardless of what Estill started the year in, they were going to struggle with their youth. When they changed to the Double wing, it somewhat energized them as well as fitting their personnel. People should realize the number of sophs Estill starts. Look for a good returning team next season.

Estill will beat Powell for their 3rd win next week. IF Morgan beats East, then Estill, East, and Morgan will tie with 3 wins. It then goes to teams they've beaten non-district and the number of wins those teams have. Morgan and Estill have 0 I believe, and I really think East should get the 4th slot since they have beaten a non-district opponent, who ultimately has wins vs. other teams.

 

Morgan Co. would have been in had West Carter beaten Estill and then Morgan beat East next week. Morgan and East would tie with 3 district wins, and the head-head would go to Morgan since they just beat East....that was the only scenario it could have still worked.

You are right for the most part Nets. However, the "non-district games" part of the tie-breaker is no longer used. It is any 3 opponents that you have beaten who are not involved in the tie-breaker. The non-district games used to be the only games allowed in the tie-breaker system, but that has changed. East will get the nod over Morgan if there is a 3 way tie.
