Clay 30 Madison Southern 26

Nice win for the tigers. Not only was it senior night, but it gave clay a playoff birth.:ylsuper:

Southern pretty much beat themselves with some turnovers at critical times, like a fumble on Clays 15 yard line which resulted in Clay getting the ball and scoring. What a mess of a field at Clay co, the field had no grass and was just a mud hole. Worst field conditions we've seen in the last 8 years of high school football!!

After Watching the scores and highlights on WKYT last night there were a lot of fields looking like mud holes.

Congrats to the Tigers for making the playoffs :ylsuper:

not like this one. It was the same when they played rockastle and then it was called a hog lot. They even let another game go on on their field Thurs night in the rain when they already had all the mud. Oh well.

Yes! Like this one. There were some pretty bad looking fields accross the state. The East Jessamine field was worse than the Clay County field. This was a big win for the Tigers, the field is what it is, there's nothing we can do now till spring. Some of you guys need to find something else to moan and groan about, it's getting old.

Congrats to clay county makin it into the playoff and i look forward to seeing what they do against bell. GO TIGERS!!!

And the last win for Clay this season.

Maybe, maybe not. One thing is certain though, Clay will play at least one more game than Madison Southern this year.:D

Yes, you are right about that but not because Clay will have any better district record than southern. The fact is they should both end up 3 and 3 and the way Clay will go to playoffs in the tie breaker is because of that EASY schedule they played half the season that everyone talked about. Those games with Evarts and Estill and Knotts, they picked up only a win or two on their likewise easy schedule , but gave Clay some points for the tie breaker. But Southern didn't have a gravy schedule, and played teams like Brethitt Co and North Laurel. I won't respond any more to this thread with your sarcasm. However, will be watching those scores of Clay county defeats the next two weeks.

This will probably get this thread closed, but you could say that MS was just another easy apponent on Clays schedule. Us pigs have never been known for our manners or "Class". OINK! OINK!
