Golden Lions lead wire to wire on Senior night. Tremendous team effort

Congrats to Garrard County on the win tonight. Big win.

I keep telling folks not to sleep on Garrard County.

I was happy that after laying egg against Danville in "big game environment" that they responded tonight. I have faith in Coach Young, and the program he's trying to establish.

As @LethalPG said, I'm not sure Garrard ever trailed, although there were some early ties and Somerset tied it at 52-52 midway through the fourth quarter. Garrard played with a lot of poise late, something they've done a bit better job of in the last couple of weeks (outside of the Danville disaster). Sebastian, Preston, and Moss each had 14 points, Trevor Jones had 13, and the Lions got a solid night on the glass from big man Charles Jones.

This was an odd matchup - neither team's size seems to fit against the other. Somerset didn't really have anyone who matched up well with Brayden Sebastian. Somerset never had any specific player get hot until Kross Grundy scored ten in the fourth quarter. Foul trouble hurt a couple of Jumpers for much of the evening, too.
