He was the greatest ever in my eyes after All Stars where he was also spurned by a bitter jury... and without a doubt he wins HvV if not for Tyson being a complete bonehead. He would have had the numbers the whole way and nobody on the Heroes would have been able to get the numbers to get him out. Hell they were too stupid to listen to Sandra to get rid of the most hated player ever much less Boston Rob. So. Winning doesn't matter. Noted...

To use a football analogy, can Dan Marino not be considered one of the greatest QBs of all time despite not winning a super bowl? There are other factors that matter more to me. I included several players in my list who I feel are better players than people who have won. Russell, Cirie, Ozzie, Rob Cesternino. All of which the case can be made should have won but other factors out of their control prohibited that from happening.

No Dan Marino isn’t the greatest ever but he also is competing against Brady and Montana for that title both guys who have 5 and 4 Super Bowls respectively. When comparing to guys like Peyton Manning I think Marino is at that level despite not having a ring. There aren’t any clear cut survivor players ahead of the field like Brady and Montana in football so it’s not a perfect comparison.

At the time of Rob's win you had 20 different winners including a two-time winner and a winner that was also a runner-up. I think he’s a really good player but I’d like to see him without the stupid idol you could play after the votes were read. That takes all of the strategy out of the idol. I didn’t like it when Tony got it in Cagayan either.

He is great at surviving on an island. But as far as the game of Survivor, I think he could go down as one of the most overrated. Literally no strategic game play in any of the seasons he played.
