January 8, 20188 yr Author Detroit as bad as they are seem to be a different beast at home. Its a road win at a tough gym to pay in. Detroit is a tough gym to play in? Did you watch the game?
January 8, 20188 yr Detroit is a tough gym to play in? Did you watch the game? Nope. I based that statement from watching them at home in the past. I would dare say things have not changed that much.
January 8, 20188 yr Author Nope. I based that statement from watching them at home in the past. I would dare say things have not changed that much. They're terrible, they've lost 11 in a row, and there were about 500 people there today. I'd say things have changed. The only tough part was playing 40 hours after the Oakland game and having 2 or 3 guys under the weather.
January 8, 20188 yr Author A two point game tells me it was a little tougher then some want to admit. It was extremely tough. It's tough when you shoot 33% from the field, shoot 25% from three, and miss 10 shots from point blank range. None of that had anything to do with the opponent or the arena. Don't get me wrong, any conference road win is nice. It's also good to win a game when you shoot poorly but this was painful to watch.
January 8, 20188 yr A two point game tells me it was a little tougher then some want to admit. It tells me NKU played like garbage and were still able to pull out a win against a significantly inferior opponent.
January 8, 20188 yr For the record..... Detroit is 2-6 in home games this year. Detroit went 5-10 at home last season. NKU is also now 3-0 against Detroit in Detroit since joining the Horizon.
