BigHawk
Congratulations to Lyon County for winning the 2018 6th Grade State Championship 58-26 over Southern (Lex) who is just starting out their season. Lyon had a dominating weekend winning all pool and bracket play games by >20 points and Lyon County teams are coming back for 7th and 8th Grade State as well. In the Gold Division congrats to Southern Pulaski barely edging out Meece in thriller 48-45. Thank You to all the teams for participating, including the coaches and parents!! CowboyDad
What a great event for the 6th grade boys. I have a son that plays on the Meece team and it was a delight to play Southern Pulaski for the Gold Championship! We wanted a different outcome of course, but only one team can win the game. If anyone wants to be blown away, watch the Lyon County team. They are so far ahead of the curve that catching up is going to be super difficult for most of these teams. Let's play a couple more this week and call it a year!

Brcatz
Wow, Lyon County wins their last 3 games by 50-4, 64-12 and 58-26. Yep 3 of the kids are as tall as one of the coaches... Some things in mirror are larger than they appear... That's the problem with Grade Based Tourneys. You take the Chance on playing older kids...
