Final.

Updates by ColonelMike.

Colonels led by 20 (24-4) at the end of one and never looked back.

37-15 at the half.

WC cut it to 12 or 13 in the third, but game headed to the fourth with Oldham up 49-32, and the Oldham D limited WV to just 7 fourth quarter points while pulling away to the final score of 71-34.

Looks like a team that had earned its Top 20 ranking. Very impressive.

Contrary to the typo in my last post, the final was 71-39 (not 71-34).

Best performance by the Colonels this young season. Kudos to Coy Zerhusen, his staff and team, for rising to the occasion tonight against a quality opponent.

senior center Travis Henderson led the Colonels with 22 points / 10 rebounds.

Colonels shot 55% from the floor overall, 42.9% from three (6 of 14), and 73.3% from the line (11 of 15).

Oldham's defense forced at least 21 turnovers.

Statement.
