Thoughts on this game that will more than likely be for the district championship??

With the district championship on the line, this should be a great game to watch. Both teams are seeking respect heading into the playoffs. I will predict the score, later in the week. Of course John will be the winner........

JH's specialty coverage teams were not real good, that may play a role as Mark Terry is a great return man. If JH's line comes off the ball, their skill guys will take this one for them.

District Championships are not won until after the second playoff game this year. Teams are fighting for seeding and home field advantage.

JH has been flat through most of the season. I was surprised to hear Nelson blowing JH off the ball during the first half. If JH can get started quickly, they may have a chance.....otherwise, North will roll by at least 2 TD's.:fight:

This game is forthe district championship. The first two rounds of the playoffs are the quarterfinals and semifinals of the region. The third week is the region championship. If it is the way you are saying, then the region is a one game deal the third week. What are your sources?

The first two weeks of the playoffs this year are against your same district, which is new this year. You are seeded by the way you finish during the season in your district. 1 seed plays the 4 seed and 2 seed plays 3 seed. Whoever wins the first two weeks is the district champ. The third week is for the regional championship. I coach high school football and learned this during a coaching meeting, this is from the KSHAA.

Will JH QB be available?

JH's starting QB will have to play if the Dawgs plan on winning. Otherwise North will cruise to a District Championship and probably make an early exit from the playoffs....as usual.:confused:

Seen him today was putting weight on his leg, would said 50/50 chance he will play. More than likely will not know till later in the week. He did mention that the swelling has gone down, if I was a betting man, I say he'll play, after all it's North.........:fight:

That's good news JD Dog! Won't matter though. If you 've seen North play, you know they're quick defensively. They'll probably put 9 or 10 in the box and destroy the run game. Last I heard, JH wasn't what you would call... stellar with the pass. I predict North by 2 TD's, but not because I'm a fan. Because the Trojan's success in 2006 depends entirely on this game.
