Parameters established at the beginning of this thread of keeping track of, and recognizing undefeated teams allowed for the possibility of a team to have a loss, or losses on their record just as long as they carried the significant distinction of remaining undefeated against Kentucky competition.

 

While a completely unblemished overall record is amazing and impressive, and is first and foremost the primary theme and intent of this thread, its secondary, and as equally significant aim was to also keep track of teams that have succeeded in the difficult, and noteworthy task of remaining unbeaten in-state mostly because it too is impressive, and is something that most followers of Kentucky High School Basketball would likely be interested in being kept privy to.

Scott County - (22-1)

 

On Jan. 22nd Scott County defeated the then only other remaining unbeaten team in the state Bryan Station in a fairly competitive game where the Cardinals were down by 12 after the first half before taking charge and coming back to win in decided fashion 72-58.

 

In tonight's Jan. 30th relentless smack down of Bryan Station 105-65 it was a completely different story leaving little doubt who is the superior team between the two, and who is undoubtedly now the Number 1 team in the state.

 

The word "STATEMENT" comes to mind, but it would only do it justice by adding to it "Multiplied by 1000".
