Cooper did a very nice job of moving the ball and playing very aggressive defense. Conner had some moments but just not enough of them. Kunkel was very impressive tonight playing against his old middle school teammates. Too bad Conner couldn't have kept Kunkel and Walters in the Red/Blue.

Very impressed by Runyon's shooting from outside tonight. He knocked down at least 4 3 pointers that I remember. No Ty Houston tonight but he was on the sidelines, not in uniform though.

Craddock, Ginn, and Guillion did most of the scoring for Conner.

I agree with the defensive assessment above. But that is a constant with Cooper. I feel that the offense is struggling a bit. You may not be able to tell by their margin of victory but in all three games thus far the offense has sputtered at times. Look for this team to continue to iron out the kinks and if they can get 4 solid quarters put together, look out! Branden Runion has been especially good early this year for the Jags. His point production is up and his hustle and rebounding effort is off the chart. Nice job B!!! Keep up the good work.

Early season rust so far. 3 starters shooting 38 39 and 40%. Not easy to replace Sean McNeil. Also takes a while to adjust to being "the man" for Kunkel. They'll get there.

Conner seems to be two years away.

Replacing McNeil is important but just as important, if not more frankly, is Hendrix. He was the glue of this team not to mention defensively which created a ton of points off turnovers.

McNeil and Hendrix, who had played together since 4th grade in AAU and middle school, were the leaders of the Jags for 3 years and now Runion, Kunkle and C. McNeil now have to be the leaders and score which they will do eventually on a consistent basis. It’s early and once they get all the new pieces working together this team should make run.

Defense is the name of the game for Sully so low scoring games will probably be the the norm just like it’s been for the last 5 years.
