July 8, 200719 yr Tha Carter III is the sixth studio album by rapper Lil Wayne. In the July/August issue of Scratch Magazine, Lil' Wayne confirmed that Tha Carter III will "probably" not be released until 2008. Also during the 2007 BET Awards after party, during an interview he also stated it would not be released until 2008. Wayne has told XXL that the album's first single would be called "La La". The song however, has been released under the title "Haters". This song leaked to the internet at the end of May 2007. The song, which consists of Wayne reminicing about growing up in New Orleans, begins with him saying "Carter III". This was not to be because of the unplanned leak of at least 13 songs from his almost finished Carter III album. This means that the planned single "La La" now becomes another mixtape track. Lil Wayne had no part in distributing the The Drought Is Over 2: Tha Carter 3 Sessions mixtape. July 11, 200719 yr I've been listening to My Daddy and Sky is the Limit off of Da Drought III a lot lately, those songs are pretty addicting. Wayne is by far my favorite rapper as well. I love Timbaland's/DJ Khaled's beats(even though most of them aren't original). Jay-Z would probably be second on my list.
July 15, 200719 yr Who's everybodys favorite rap/R&B artist?? I'm not much on R&B so I don't really have a favorite for that but my favorite rap artists are Eminem, Lil Wayne, Yung Joc, 3 6 Mafia, Outkast, Too $hort, Lil Wyte. By the way, a song that is pretty good is 'Krispy' by Kinfolk. Then: Tupac Now:T.I.
