Southwestern is 10-2 after a 29-7 win over Whitley County.

 

Harlan County is the only team not ranked in the BGP 5A top 15 that is still alive in the playoffs. The Black Bears are on a 4 game winning streak and seeking to win their first Regional Final since 2012.

Southwestern had lost two straight at the mid season point but now have rolled off 7 wins. The last Regional Final win for the Warriors was in 2011, when they beat Harlan County 28-21. That was the last time the two had met.

SW should take care of business. Would be better if Edwards was to be able to play but I still think the Warriors prevail either way.

Edwards should be available if needed for a limited amount of carries... Haven't heard an update yet though.. But I was impressed with the game plan for Whitley...
