Tiger announcing his return to tournament golf the end of November

Featured Replies

This is a little sooner than I expected. He has been very patient this go round so my guess is he really feels good. He is making his first start at his own tournament - The Hero World Challenge. I know I will be watching! I don't expect to ever see the "old" Tiger again but I do hope he is competitive. While golf is in a good place with all the young great players we have now, it will be much better if Tiger is back in the mix...

I hope he's healthy but we've heard this before.

I was watching one of the weekend tournaments and they were talking about a guy (Armour?) who had tried to bulk up and had nothing but problems. Commentator said that just about the worst thing a successful golfer could do was get significantly bulkier and stronger; that it was often disastrous.

I agree. Look at Dustin Johnson...a workout freak but he is not at all bulky - just strong. I think Tiger did get too big...no doubt.

I loved watching Tiger in his prime, I'd be happy to just get a glimpse of the old Tiger once or twice a year, now.
