The Scotties (7-3) gave a strong showing against 3A #4 Elizabethtown to wrap up their regular season. They welcome in a Holy Cross (0-10) team that has fallen hard from where they were last year at this time. The Indians have been outscored 525-76 on the year.

This is why the playoffs in Kentucky are sooooo stupid. Why is Holy Cross driving almost 4 hours in the FIRST round? Why? What person looked at that and thought, “Latonia to Glasgow in the first round? Brilliant!” Insane.

Glasgow wins big.

At least the clock will stay running through most of this game. Glasgow big in this one. Holy Cross has had probably the biggest drop off from last year to this that I ever remember seeing. Hopefully they come back stronger next year.

I had an asst Superintendent tell me last weekend that there has been discussion among many of them in several districts about how the playoff brackets have panned out with the cross bracketing and they are not happy. In fact one Superintendent sent a letter to the BOC telling all of them to fire themselves immediately, lol.
