Fromms passer rating is also higher. 6th vs 28th. I don't care about my QB running. The more a QB runs the ball the less confident it seems the coaches are in his ability to throw the ball. If you're Lamar Jackson or Deshaun Watson last year, it's a different story, because they are dynamic throwing the ball too. Look I'm not a Bama fan, everyone knows that. Doesn't mean I'm anymore of a hater than all of the Buckeye bashers on here. It is what it is. Hurts is what he is. He's a really good dude, coaches son, and is a leader by example. But you're foolish if you think Hurts is going to win you a championship with his arm.

Oh yeah throw out his record as a starter. Greg McIlroy had an undefeated season is he a great QB too? I'm not bringing up anyone's running ability, because I don't care. The only outlier is Lamar Jackson simply because he is a freak athlete whuvg as good of a runner as Hurts he doesn't compare to. I want my QB to stand in the pocket, go through progressions and make the right read every time. Hurts gets the ball, every once in a while will look off a safety if he's going downfield, and then go to his first read. If that read isn't there he tucks it. Bamas best offensive player is Cameron Ridley hands down, and they can't get the ball in his hands. Ridley was visibly frustrated with Hurts during the Tennessee game. Call me a hater all you want, but my criticisms aren't baseless.

I think the same could be said for Frohm as well. If UGA had to depend on him to win with his arm then they would be in trouble. At least Hurts can run the ball.

He's 21-1 becasue he is a really good football player, pretty good QB, playing on the best team. If he was a good passer he'd be 22-0

Fromm is a better passer. He's a freshmen, but you can see him try to work through progressions and can anticipate throws something that after 2 years Jalen Hurts has either shown a reluctance to do or maybe Bama simply doesn't want him to and they obviously dont need him to. I just don't think you can say Jalen Hurts has ever won Alabama a game. You can make the case that he did everything he could to win them a national championship last year, but they didn't win. Often times I feel like Alabama won in spite of Jalen Hurts. I'm still in the camp that Tagovailoa is the better QB anyways. Jalen Hurts is what he is. He takes care of the ball and he doesn't really make mistakes. But he's not a dynamic playmaker and is very much a product of the system around him.
