I'm not sure on Oklahoma controlling their own destiny. If they win out they'll probably get in, but if ND runs through their schedule and Oklahoma keeps squeaking out wins I could easily see them left out.

ND will have played a much harder schedule and will have a better loss. That's certainly a good debate to be had.

They will have the better loss but it's not like OU lost to Rutgers. ND has the tougher schedule but not light years ahead. They both have multiple top 25 teams left and if OU makes the big 12 title game their SOS will move up and be comparable.

 

At the end of the day I have zero faith OU wins out. I mean it's OU, they just seem to find ways to screw up their chance.

I don't personnally see a way either ND or OU win out. Chaos is going to happen it has every year so far. Every year there has only been 1 undefeated team make the playoff and I expect that trend to continue.

Haha I didn't look at the stats but Fromm is actually better than Hurts in virtually every statistical passing category. You mentioned total yards but Hurts has played 8 games against Fromm 7 and Fromm didn't start until Eason got hurt. @dognation2

If Bama had to win on Hurts arm they are in trouble. He's a nice college QB can throw just well enough to keep defenses honest. But I don't think anyone mistaken him for a great passer.

I think the same could be said for Frohm as well. If UGA had to depend on him to win with his arm then they would be in trouble. At least Hurts can run the ball.

Riiiiight...hurts has played one more game, he has more passing yards...he has 3 less td's but 2 less int's. BUT he has almost 600 rushing yards with 6 td's. Their completion pct is almost identical. You're just a hater.

Fromms passer rating is also higher. 6th vs 28th. I don't care about my QB running. The more a QB runs the ball the less confident it seems the coaches are in his ability to throw the ball. If you're Lamar Jackson or Deshaun Watson last year, it's a different story, because they are dynamic throwing the ball too. Look I'm not a Bama fan, everyone knows that. Doesn't mean I'm anymore of a hater than all of the Buckeye bashers on here. It is what it is. Hurts is what he is. He's a really good dude, coaches son, and is a leader by example. But you're foolish if you think Hurts is going to win you a championship with his arm.
