Southwestern is 6-2 after beating Lincoln County 48-7.

Pulaski County is 4-4 after beating South Laurel 29-8.

 

The district title is up for grabs in the cross county battle.

 

They both lost to Madison Southern, Southwestern 20-23, Pulaski County 21-60.

 

Last season the teams played twice, Southwestern won the regular season game 21-6, however Pulaski County won the 3rd round playoff game 41-27.

 

Who wins?

This will be a tough one for Southwestern on the road. Pulaski County is a difficult place to play. Southwestern should still be favored, but PC is improving and will have home field advantage. Should be a great game.

SW is the better team this year but usually doesn't matter in rivalry games. Take care of the ball and don't allow the big play and SW should be fine.
